ZIAC (Bisporol Fumarate and Hydrochlorothiazide): Full Information

What is Ziac?

This drug combination is used to treat high blood pressure (high blood pressure). Reducing high blood pressure helps prevent stroke, heart attacks and kidneys.

ZIAC (Bisporol Fumarate and Hydrochlorothiazide) are indicated for treating high blood pressure. The two antihypertensive drugs combine in single dose doses: one of the contraceptives (selective heart) of adrenergic basperolum fumarate and a diuretic benzoate diazine (hydrochlorothiazide).

Bioprolol fumarate is chemically called (±) -L- [4- [[2- (1-methyylethoxy) ethoxy] methyl] phenoxy] -3 - [(1-methyylethyl) amino] -2-propanol (E) - 2-Butenedioate (2: 1) (Salt). It has an asymmetric carbon core in its structure and is provided as a rachitic mixture. The S (-) enantiomer is responsible for most beta-blocking activities. Its empirical formula (C18H31NO4) 2 is C4H4O4 and its molecular weight is 766.97.

This product contains two medicines. Bioprolol is a beta blocker that acts by blocking the effects of some natural chemicals (such as epinephrine) on the heart and blood vessels. This lowers your heart rate, reduces blood pressure and reduces heart pressure. Hydrochlorothiazide is a water pill (diuretic) that works by increasing the amount of urine you make. This will help your body get rid of excess salt and water, which probably helps blood vessels to flow more easily. These two drugs are taken together when a medication does not control your blood pressure. With these two drugs, you can reduce the amount of each drug you need, thus reducing the likelihood of side effects.

Ziac is a combination of hydrochlorothiazide and bisoprolol. Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic thiazide (a water pill) that helps your body absorb too much salt, which can keep fluids up.

Bioprolol is a beta-blocker. Beta blockers affects the heart and circulation (blood flow through the arteries and veins).

If excessive ZIAC (Bisoprolol Fumarate and Hydrochlorothiazide) is suspected, treatment with ZIAC should be discontinued and the patient should be more careful. Symptomatic and supportive treatment; there is no particular antidote. Limited data suggest that fumarate bipolar cannot be dialysable. Similarly, there is no indication that dialyzable hydrochlorothiazide is. Prophylactic measures include: induction of ulcer and / or gastric larvae, activation of activated charcoal, respiratory support, fluid and electrolyte imbalance correction and seizure therapy. Based on the predicted pharmacological actions and recommendations for other beta-blockers and hydrochlorothiazide, when clinically necessary, it should be considered:
