Xolair (Omalizumab): How to use, Side Effects, Dosage

What is Xolair?

Xolair (Omalizumab) is an antibody that helps reduce allergic reactions in the body.

omalizumab is a condition for asthma control and prevention (such as wheezing and shortness of breath) that is used throughout the year due to biological allergies. Control of asthma symptoms helps you keep up your natural activities and lose time from work or school. Omalizumab is also used to treat wounds from an unknown cause (chronic CIU).

Xolair is a monoclonal IgG1κ monoclonal antibody produced from DNA that selectively binds human immunoglobulin E (IgE). The molecular weight antibody is approximately 149 kDa. Xolair is produced by a Chinese hamster ovary cell suspension in an environment containing the gentimazin antibiotic. Gentamicin is not detectable in the final product.

Xolair is used to treat moderate to severe asthma caused by allergies in adults and children who are at least 6 years of age. Xolair is used when asthma symptoms are not controlled by an asthma inhalable steroid drug. This is not a rescue therapy to treat asthma attacks.

This medication should be used regularly to be effective. This is not right, If an asthma attack occurs, use your fast flu (like albuterol, salbutamol).

Xolair is also used to treat chronic ulcers (idiopathic groin) in adults and children aged 12 years and older, after being tested without antihistamines.
